1. Original Marriage Certificate is attested to the Ministry of Religious Affairs accompanied by Copies of Marriage certificate (husband and wife) that has been attested by local Office of Religious Affairs.
2. Translated into English
3. Attested by the Notary
4. Attested to the Ministry of Justice and Foreign Affairs
5. Attested to the Embassy of UAE in Jakarta.

Translator in Jakarta


The Code set out below is intended to regulate the professional conduct of members of the Translation Interpreting Attestation Services in Jakarta who are Translator in Jakarta or of other organisations. The Code came into effect on the following dates: for Translator or Interpreter in Jakarta, who may be members of the Translator in Jakarta and/or the Institute of Translation and Interpreting in Jakarta the Code came into effect on 10 December 2007. For members of the Translator in Jakarta who are not Translator or Interpreter in Jakarta the Code came into effect on 1 January 2010. The Code will remain in force until amended or abrogated by the Council. Notice of amendment will be made on the website of the Translator in Jakarta and through other appropriate means. Amendments will normally come into effect three months after approval by the Council. By resolution of the Council of the Translator in Jakarta 17 November 2010
Definitions
The “Translator in Jakarta” means the Translator in Jakarta.
“ITI” means the Institute of Translation and Interpreting.
A “Practitioner” is a person carrying out work in a professional capacity.
A “Principal” is the person or body from whom a Practitioner accepts work.
The term “work” means either activity in a professional capacity as a linguist – this includes translation, interpreting (including remote interpreting), teaching, sub-titling, voice-over, editing, proofreading, revision, transcreating, using languages when conducting business, and any other professional activity requiring the application of language skills – or the product of that activity, such as a translation. The interpretation of the term will be determined by the context.
The “Code” means this Code of Professional Conduct or the Code for the time being in force.
A “Public Service Interpreter” means an interpreter who works in the context of public services, such as the legal profession, health services and local government related services, which include housing, education, welfare, environmental health and social services.
General Framework
The Code shall apply to members of the Translator in Jakarta and Translator or Interpreter in Jakarta recorded on the Register of Translator or Interpreter in Jakarta maintained by the Translator in Jakarta; such persons may be members of the Translator in Jakarta, and/or of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) in regard to their duties, responsibilities and conduct as members of the Translator in Jakarta and/or as Translator or Interpreter in Jakarta.
